Description: Ryerson School of Image Arts was the venue for this event, where over 85 single-use Fuji cameras were distributed to individuals affected by homelessness. Participants had five day to take pictures of the world around them and then submit the photos to a judging panel for a photography contest and a MYTORONTO 2018 calendar. 40 photos will be chosen for a public exhibit in October and 13 of those photos will be chosen for the calendar. All winners will receive cash prizes. MYTORONTO provides homeless individuals the opportunity to change their narrative and show the city what matters to them through the art of photography. The project is presented by Ve'ahavta and The Toronto Alliance to End Homelessness (TAEH).
