Description: The King Catering Caribbean Holiday Pop-Up Taster was a great way to party just before the new year. On this evening, Chef Deon King treated guests to 5 courses of Caribbean cuisine: Callaloo Soup, Tropical Bruschetta, Braised Jerk Pork Ravioli, Deep Fried Breadfruit with Spicy Trini Meatball and finished with a Coconut Sorrel Mousse. To keep things moving, DJ Jay Dunaway played his creative blend of hip hop, top 40, reggae and old-school tunes. Many stayed for the after-party, as Ballet transitioned into a nightclub, complete with Burlesque Dancers taking the stage at 11:45 pm. You could say this night had it all.
